How to Prevent Health Insurance Coverage: Fear and Cost by Alexander Conroy

How can we prevent people from getting health insurance? Fear and Cost are two major components to achieving this. There is nothing harder that striking fear into the hearts of the public and creating a financial wall between a hospital bed, and a back alley doctor's barber chair. Doesn't the public realize that cheap affordable healthcare should come from uninsured, unlicensed and of course, cheap medical "professionals" wielding dull and rusty scalpels and scapulae? I much prefer sharing my thermometers with the public.

When you call for Health Insurance, did you know if you have been declined in the past, you have basically no chance to get in? A terrible fate, your only option now is to use recycled needles an over the counter mixture drugs, hoping to get the same effect as the insulin you so preciously need.

So lets say you want to apply, and you haven't been denied yet? Scared? Worried? What will you do...what will you say...not to get denied. Things start to get complicated, you start to sweat and now you can't remember if you had that heart attack in 99, or if your about to have one on the spot. Tears start to stream down your face and you hang up the phone, gasping, then thinking twice: Maybe you do need that medical insurance...

But then there's the cost...How much can you afford? Most likely, you don't have a job, which is why you are looking for Health Insurance in the first place...imagine getting smacked with that $10,000 bill when you go in to get that Tetanus shot after you stepped on a nail. Yea, you need it...ok. So, it only costs about 2 times more a month than if you had a job. Don't Panic! There's always bankruptcy...the government...mom?

Our healthcare system has problems. It is hard to get Health Insurance, especially if your ill. It would seem counter-intuitive, but remember you are dealing with a business, not a compassionate caretaker. You need to do your research, and weigh your options before you put in that first application. There are alternatives if you have been denied, and you can contact a licensed agent in order to find what those are.

You can fret and delay all you want, but in the end you are going to need Health Insurance. Your guaranteed to have that Heart Attack worrying about having Heart Attacks if you don't. Professional Agents are the only ones that can guide you through this. You must get over the fear of that phone call, an agent is not going to screw you over, they are trying to help.

Remember, this is not only healthcare, this is also an industry. Agents need to eat, so they need to help you. There is trust when there is professionalism. Everyone has your successful application and policy in mind. Your participation in health insurance not only benefits you, but the agents, administrators, doctors, and children of all those involved in this seemingly sick, but ultimately healing cycle. Sometimes you have to bear through your own nerves and discomfort to achieve that peace of mind and body.
